Woodland Garden - Northcote
This garden design focussed on creating a sense of different zones and 'garden rooms' using different design elements. We achieved this by introducing two decking pieces connected by a decking bridge, an area of lawn, corten planter boxes, a revitalised cubby house (existing before the design) and recycled railway sleeper stepping stones. The perimeter garden bed emulates a woodland style planting using silver birches, multiple ground covers and perennial flowers planted into topography. The decking is lined with gold stripe bamboo to give a sense of leisure and escape in the city.
