Topography Garden - Altona

This design was for a property in Altona, Victoria. We created two large mounds on either side of a sunken hardwood path. The mounds have a limited planting palette to create a modern mass planted and banded aesthetic. A pond also sits below the northern mound re-filling when it rains, and acting as a low point on the site. The front garden has a sense of freedom and feels like an ecosystem rather than a show garden. The back garden is currently under construction, stay tuned for updates!
