Colour Banding, Malvern

This project was inspired by the planting style of Piet Oudolf, it aimed to create a meadow style space, with contrasting colour, texture and form. We designed this garden using low lying vegetation and banded plants together either by height, colour or leaf form. This style of planting will create a very modern space which had a freedom in the way it grows over time. The design also features with a dicondra repent (kidney weed) false lawn with an embedded stepping stone pathway through it.
